Patchwork Parade Doll Club
Usually meets on the first Saturday of the month and is led by experienced tutor and doll maker Lesley Clements. The Doll Club welcomes new members and is open to everyone with an interest in fabric doll making. You will see some examples of the dolls that have been made by Lesley and by our Doll Club if you visit the shop or our annual exhibition in March.
The dolls are made from fabric and have sculpted faces. You will learn to sculpt and colour the faces as well as make hands and fingers, add hair and clothing. The dolls are great fun to make and you will be guided by Lesley through the whole process. The tools that you will need are available to use in the class, you will not need to buy anything special. You will be given fabric requirements on booking a place.
The Doll Club is currently full. If you would like to have your name put on the waiting list, then just give the shop a ring on 0161 633 5900.
